Miss Anet has worked in daycare for 19 years, 11 as a director. As a longtime educator of young children, she believes in a hands-on approach and enjoys mingling with children and parents. Truly a part of the Ruston Christian family, Miss Anet enjoys supporting staff with lesson plans, arts & crafts and discipline. Her philosophy is “children first,” and she believes that parents and childcare providers must work together to bring home and daycare together, providing a smooth transition for all children. |
Miss Laura
School-age teacher
Retired from the Tacoma Public Library system after 27 years as a children’s librarian, Miss Laura has been teaching part-time in the Preschool classroom for four months, and recently agreed to a full-time position as the school-age teacher. Miss Laura is a lifelong lover of books and strives to pass on that love to the children of Ruston Christian. An enthralling storyteller and dedicated teacher, she enjoys getting kids involved in activities that stimulate their curiosity. |
